Trop. Through his choice of title, the philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy associated his exhibition with this disproportion that is related to a way of thinking about art in all its excesses and extremes. And it is this opening, in every sense, that this publication displays, bringing together unpublished texts, sound projects and visual works that attest to the richness of the points of view expressed by Jean-Luc Nancy and his collaborators on the great questions of meaning, body, community and responsibility. The publication looks at the connections the philosopher makes with artistic creation through his involvement with two French art figures, visual artist François Martin and musician Rodolphe Burger.
