Louise Déry has written texts of a very different nature: an introduction in which she describes the pleasure she derives from artists and their work; theoretical notes on her own work as a curator in which she reconsiders the role of the exhibition catalogue and that of the curator as scholar and author; and a discussion of the exhibition from the perspective of its temporal theme, including a description of the works included in it. The book’s various sections were published separately as off-prints and co-published with Éditions les petits carnets.
