In the presence of David Altmejd, who will be returning to Galerie de l’UQAM for the occasion, we invite you to the launch of the catalog and virtual exhibition « David Altmejd. Agora » on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 3 p.m. These extensions of the exhibition will allow visitors to explore in greater depth the theme of the heads and busts created by the artist as autonomous objects, independent of his large installations.

The richly illustrated catalogue not only presents the works featured in the exhibition but also includes a complete visual inventory of the nearly three hundred heads and busts created by the artist to date. An essay by curator Louise Déry, numerous quotes from David Altmejd, and several reference materials complete the publication.

It will bring together all of the works presented, comments from the artist, and exclusive video content, accessible for a period of five years, in a lively and engaging navigation experience.
