International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) is back in force for this hybrid edition which takes place from March 15 to 27! Galerie de l’UQAM is proud to join forces with the FIFA to present the world premiere of the documentary 305 Bellechasse during its 40th edition.

The event will take place with the director – Maxime-Claude L’Écuyer – and film crew on March 26, 2022 at 7:15 pm at the Canadian Centre for Architecture. Not to be missed !

About 305 Bellechasse

The address 305 Bellechasse has had several lives. First a Catelli pasta factory, it was later home to artists’ studios, and it was finally sold to a real estate developer in 2018. The director wanted to bear witness to the rich creative life of some of the artists who had studios in the building. With rare access to these creators’ words, we learn about their artistic processes and their close bonds with their studios. At the same time, the film shows the importance and fragility of creative spaces in Montréal.
