The Galerie de l’UQAM offers various ways to access today’s art

Our mediators look forward to taking you and your group on guided tours of our exhibitions. Links to pdf documents giving the detailed program for each semester appear below. The tours can be adapted to meet your particular needs and to complement material covered in the classroom. While the documents below are produced in French, the tours can take place in English.

In addition, the Galerie de l’UQAM can host your conferences or work sessions in its exhibitions galleries, surrounded by the art works.

We also offer a number of complementary workshops aimed at familiarizing your students with different issues related to contemporary art and museology:
- the mission and role of a university gallery
- the Collection d’œuvres d'art de l’UQAM: management, inventory, acquisition, La Petite Collection (collection of multiples)
- other workshops available on request.

These activities are made possible by the Canada Council for the Arts, which supports the Galerie de l’UQAM with an annual operating grant. They are offered free of charge.
