Our mediators look forward to taking groups and teachers on guided tours of the exhibition Uprisings. Inspired by the ideas developed by Georges Didi-Huberman in his writings, these visits are intended to highlight the thematic, formal and conceptual issues of a selection of works in the exhibition. The tours are flexible and open to all school and community groups. They can be adapted to meet particular needs and to complement material covered in the classroom.

The activities are available anytime, free of charge, in French and in English.

Three options are available to groups:

1. Tour of Uprisings at Galerie de l’UQAM
Duration: 1 h

Available from Sept. 10 through Nov. 24, 2018

2. Tour of Uprisings at Galerie de l’UQAM and
 Cinémathèque québécoise in one visit
Duration: 2 h

Available from Sept. 10 through Nov. 4, 2018

3. Tour of Uprisings at Galerie de l’UQAM and
Cinémathèque québécoise in two visits
Duration: 2 x 1 h
Available from Sept. 10 through Nov. 4, 2018

Groups wishing to visit our exhibitions without a mediator are asked to contact the Galerie beforehand so that their arrival can be planned.

These services are aimed at better integrating these communities into the public activities of Galerie de l’UQAM and developing specific opportunities that meet their needs. Furthermore, the exhibition halls of Galerie de l'UQAM and Cinémathèque québécoise are wheelchair accessible.
